WOONSOCKET, RI – Two people were injured, and a 58-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash on May 3rd in Woonsocket, 10 WJAR reports.
Local police say the two cars collided around 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Verry Street and Harris Avenue.
The impact of the collision caused one car to overturn and catch fire. The 25-year-old driver of that car was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The other driver was transported to Landmark Hospital where she died from her injuries. A second occupant of that car sustained minor injuries.
