WOONSOCKET, R.I.- A two year-old was critically injured in a two-car crash at Mendon and Diamond Hills Rd on Oct. 29th, WPRI reports. A law enforcement official found the crash at 2a.m. In one vehicle there were two 21 year-olds: Erika Ahrens and Trevor Pickering. There were also two children in the car who were both hospitalized at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. The 2 year-old remains at the hospital with severe injuries. WOONSOCKET, R.I.- A man released from his job at a Dollar Tree drives vehicle into that same store on Tuesday in Woonsocket, WPRI reports. Scott Stern, 49, had been let go from his employment at Dollar Tree the day before he rammed someone else’s vehicle into the store. Before crashing into the store, Stern had been arguing with someone at a housing complex in the neighborhood. Police were called to address this situation. WOONSOCKET, RI – Two people were injured, and a 58-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash on May 3rd in Woonsocket, 10 WJAR reports. Local police say the two cars collided around 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Verry Street and Harris Avenue. The impact of the collision caused one car to overturn and catch fire. The 25-year-old driver of that car was hospitalized with serious injuries. The other driver was transported to Landmark Hospital where she died from her injuries.
