Narrative

PROVIDENCE, RI – One person sustained injuries Monday in a crash involving a motorcycle and a parked vehicle in Providence.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. in the area of Allens Avenue and Toronto Avenue, which is in the Washington Park neighborhood on the south side of the city.

Police say that for unknown reasons, a motorcycle collided with the rear of an unoccupied, parked vehicle. The bike and the rider became pinned beneath the vehicle.

Following extrication, medics transported the biker to an area hospital with minor injuries.

There were no passengers on the motorcycle.

A full investigation is underway.
