WARWICK, RI – Medics transported two people to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision on a busy roadway in Warwick on Saturday, reports WPRI 12. Police say the incident happened in the afternoon on Bald Hill Road. Video footage depicts the area around Midland Commons Mall. Authorities have not yet commented on how the crash happened. Police say the crash involved a Lexus sedan and a Nissan Pathfinder SUV. It happened around 1 a.m. on southbound I-95 south of I-295. WARWICK, RI – A Rhode Island State Police Officer was hospitalized after an alleged drunk driver collided with his police cruiser on I-95 in Warwick Tuesday, WPRI reports. Police say the crash happened before 2 a.m. on Tuesday near exit 14 on I-95. The police cruiser was parked with other police vehicles to form a blockade at a crash scene on the highway.
