PROVIDENCE, RI – A vehicle struck and killed a male pedestrian at an intersection in Providence late Thursday night before fleeing the scene, reports GoLocalProv.
Police say the incident happened just after 11 p.m. at the corner of Broad Street and John Partington Way, which is just west of I-95.
Authorities declared the victim dead at the scene of the accident. They have not yet released his identity but say he was from Crossroads.
