SMITHFIELD, RI – A 37-year-old man died Tuesday in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash along a busy roadway in northern Providence County.
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. along Farnum Pike, or RI-104, which runs northwest to southeast through Smithfield.
There’s no word yet regarding what might have caused Roland Beauvais to crash his motorcycle.
Police say that Beauvais died at the scene of the accident.
A full investigation is underway.
