Narrative
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – A 24-year-old man died, and two other men went to the hospital last Friday after a two-vehicle collision at an East Providence intersection.
The incident happened just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Pawtucket Avenue and Caitlin Avenue, which is east of the Wannamoisett Country Club.
Police have not outlined the circumstances of the accident except to say that it involved a Subaru and a Nissan and that speed may have been a factor.
A passenger in the Nissan, identified as Jacob Crenshaw, died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Nissan, the victim’s brother, sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Medics also transported the driver of the Subaru to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
