Narrative
RICHMOND, RI – A 64-year-old woman died Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash along the interstate in west-central Washington County.
The accident happened around 2 p.m. on I-95 North in the city of Richmond. Officials have not yet provided a cross street for the crash.
Police say that one vehicle rear-ended another along the interstate, causing both cars to leave the roadway and crash.
Medics transported two people to the hospital. One of the injured patients died after transport, while the other was admitted with serious injuries.
Authorities identified the victim as Sheila White.
Two other people involved in the crash did not require hospitalization.
A full investigation is underway.
